George fredrick handel born in 1685 as a child he displayed major musical talent, studying the harpsichord organ and composistion. Self developing in the violin, he learnt how to play skilfully by himself. At the age of 10 he wrote a successful sonatas for two oboes and bass.
When Handel was 11 years old he went to perform before 2 Elector Frederick 3rd at Berlin who was impressed by the potential so much he proposed to send him to Italy to study a proposition. Handel’s dad did not lean towards the idea as he wanted his son to study law. whilst studying law at the university of Halle 1702 its recorded that Handel joined the cathedral of Halle and played as a organist.
