Last night i was up until 5am trying to meet a deadline in which i put of because i was procrastinating last week during office hours. How many of us; if not all, have been in a similar situation and painstakingly had to work extra hard to meet deadlines.
But for some of us, procrastination isn’t an occasional thing. Instead, it defines the way we approach everything even the dishes in the sink. The ill leave it to tomorrow is a productivity killer and destroys creativity in most cases. Benjamin Franklyn once said “Never leave that til tomorrow which you can do today,”
If like me you work with computers, you no the trouble with working with computers is that we play with them. You have a deadline looming. However, instead of doing your important tasks, you are fiddling with things like emails, social media, watching videos. I use to fall into this trap regular, but now i set my self a timeline of the details activities i am going to undertake throughout the day.

Write down when and where you will complete a task
share your plan with a friend by phone or email. (i will complete my assignment by ect) This will help you be more motivated towards the goals and help eliminate procrastination.
The night before, create a simple to-do list and hit the ground running the next morning, people tend to procrastinate in the state of over-analyzing (or over-thinking) a situation so that a decision or action is never taken, in effect paralyzing the outcome.
Having a plan and planning are two different things, allow your self time to schedule the day and map out every section on a time scale.
Not only do we need to change but also the things that make us unhappy. Change your environment if it makes you feel tired or unenthusiastic about work, Buy a new desk, or chairs, paint that wall a brighter color or re-position your office.
lastly write down your goals, and stick to them, figure out what stands between you and your goals and start changing them, weather that be a new job, relationship or habit.
Now stop talking and feeling sorry for your self, identify the problem and start working on positive results.
