Tp things to do at {Pulborough Brooks} Nature reserve

Hi and greetings This week i took BMM to visit to Pulbourough Brooks it was a amazing day out in the beautiful Arun Valley, situated at the foot of the rolling South Downs,

The air was so fresh up on the heath land where i enjoyed the evening stroll among the flitting bats and twinkling glow worms

Accessibility and features

  1. No charge for parking

  2. A manual wheelchair can be borrowed free of charge

  3. A Tramper mobility scooter is available for hire (please book in advance)

  4. The Visitor Centre is open 9.30 am-5 pm daily (the cafe closes at 4.30 pm), except Christmas Day and Boxing Day. The nature trail is open daily from sunrise to sunset, except Christmas Day

  5. Check accessibility for events and activities

  6. We welcome registered assistance dogs (please do not be offended if we ask for evidence of registration)

  7. Staff available to assist. Binoculars for hire.

How to get here Pulborough Station, 2 miles (4 km) away. Taxis are not readily available at the station Request bus stop outside the reserve

By train

Pulborough (2 miles/4 km); taxi available.

By bus

Compass Bus 100, from Burgess Hill to Horsham, serves the stop immediately outside the reserve. It is a request stop, so you will need to ask the driver to drop you outside the reserve when you board. For a full timetable, please see: http://www.compass-travel.co.uk/timetables/service_100.html

By road

Located approximately 2 miles/3.2 km from Pulborough village. Follow the A283 towards Storrington. The reserve is located on the right-hand side.

Car parking

  1. Five Blue Badge parking outside visitor centre with Tarmac surface

  2. Loose gravel surface in main car park

  3. No lighting

  4. Drop-off point outside the Visitor Centre
